Interclass Games
Interclass games officially ended on Tuesday, 16 October 2007, so apparently, I see the need to blog it before it becomes stale news.I'm not really sure about the guys' Interclass Soccer details eh? The first day was on Thursday, 11 October. It was the Qualifying rounds?? So that day we had to play against 2A and 2J. We won both classes :) The players were Charissa, Guanglin, Huiying, Wentian, Sam Lauw and Vivyan. So we won the first placing within this category of 3 classes. Meanwhile, the guys won classes 2D and 2L and went on the the second round. The second day was on Friday, 12 October. It was the second round and we played against classes 2B, 2C and 2I and we won all of them :D Haha. It was a good game :D Just that the players had to play in the hot sun, and not in the gym and furthermore, Kenneth got bitten by a leech :/ He removed a leech and there was this marking there :S The guys lost to 2H during the penalties. Kuan Liang and Dillon missed the goal and only Vincent scored. As for 2H, I think one of the penalties was scored by Royston? The third day was on Tuesday, 16 October. 2G girls are in the semi-finals/finals! :D We had to play against 2J again and we won them. 2H girls won 2C and so our competitors in the finals was 2H! 2C won 2J for the third and fourth placing. And for the final match, it was really really very exciting, probably the most exciting match ever! Lots of people gathered in the gym, outside the gym (At the grandstand, looking downwards) There was lots of diving and cheering and Szeyuen, Zhiying they all were screaming 好球 and 来了! We won 2H finally! :D It was a really exciting match that can make you really nervous, compared to the first few matches, which we lost points or gain points due to serving problems. Here's a 1 minute plus clip on the final match As for the guys, they lost to 2C. Actually, I kind of expected it because someone (I'm not sure who) said that they will get at least a second position. I was already telling others that there complacency would be the cause of their downfall.. Ah, not that I was cursing them but my prediction came true...... :x I hate myself.
