Do you fear the expressions on the faces we don't know?
I really do like the fact that I got a chance to learn gymnastics! Like, though I do suffer like injuries, aching and stuff (Like I injured my back today, not very good, since I've got like a knee injury as well) but it's really fun and at least I am working out!

Well, after being Coach's student for probably more or around 6 years, I start to forget that he's from China. So when he and the Team Singapore Gymnastics' coach were discussing about the Olympics, this question came to my mind.

If you're a coach, training a foreign team and your students compete with your country's team, who will you support?

Your country? Or your students?

I think, for people who have a really strong sense of loyalty and love for their country, they'd secretly hope for their own country to win, and probably hope that their students come in just after them?

Well, for me, I guess I would support the country that I train, rather than my own country. Maybe you wonder, why am I able to be so sure of my answer. I guess it's because, I'm starting to lose this sense of love and belonging to my own country? Maybe it's due to globalization or maybe it's because our school doesn't really instill this sense of belonging anymore, but I've got a gut feeling that if this scenario would happen to me, I'd definitely support a team, that was built through my own efforts and hard work.

The reason is simple. Well, at least simple enough for me to understand. When I watch the Olympics, for example the swimming, of course I do cheer for my own country to win. But when it comes to continents? My mum cheers like mad, for China to beat all the other countries, because she strongly feels that we should support our fellow Chinese.

As for me and Bro, we'll go like,"Aiyah. Isn't it obvious that (this country) would win?" And there was this Handball/Hockey game between China and another country. We kind of like supported the other country?

I guess, as the world is going through modernization, we're slowly starting to lose our culture, religion and own roots. Maybe one day in the future, I'll come to realise how much I love my own country.

I do love Singapore, and I believe many people do claim so to. But how many of us do sing the National Anthem and say the Pledge with pride? (This applies mainly to students) I'm not afraid to say that I haven't been singing the National Anthem for around 3 years, and I did sing, during the National Day celebration. Felt kinda touched after that.

Somehow, it's just so weird. We claim that we love this or that but we don't really show it.

But back to the topic, I don't think I'll really ever get to experience that sort of a dilemma because chances of me being able to train a team, not even talking about local? Perhaps zero, or even negative :)

Sidetrack (Off topic)

Chemistry Garden and creating of century egg, wasn't as fun as I expected! What beautiful crystals forming? They're so ugly alright! I just threw my whole 'garden' away. And the century egg, gross. Got to leave it for 10 days! I sure hope it won't stink, very soon, the small little quail egg would be able to qualify as a soccer ball.

I don't like her _|_face! I hate it! She was like,"Don't put so much crystals or you'll eat the rest up." Wth? She didn't even specify like how much to put, and I just took like one spatula? Argh.

And yes, I officially hated 3 things today.

I hate MRTS.
My skirt got stuck in between the MRT doors and I was frantically trying to yank it out, and I was making a lot of noise and Serena was there taking pictures aways gleefully and she thought it was really funny because I looked like I was damn happy that my skirt got stuck. It was a total nightmare ok! For a moment, I thought the train door wasn't going to open until it was Bradell and I squealed like a dead pig.

I hate McWings.
Oh, you should seriously go try them. I don't whether it was just my luck or what. The wings totally suck to the core. It stank like shit. There was this smell, which made my fingers smelly for the rest of the day until I went home to bathe. It smelt like some dead carcass. Eew. And it was the flour area. I peeled off all the flour (Oily, fattening, unhealthy) and it's so not worth the money! EVM wasted $6.50 of my pocket money! That could be like my 2 or 2 half day's break/lunch!

I hate Coca Cola.
Actually I don't really hate it. I think it's a waste of money. Feels your stomach up with all the gas. Urgh. And worse still, colouring causes pigmentation. And Serena had to mix the remaining of Sharon's Green Tea Mcflurry with Milo, Coke, Chilli sauce, MY LEFTOVER CHICKEN SKIN AND BONES and nice one, it looked like disgusting cornflakes.

Enough of ranting, I can't look after kids. Total failure today. The kid just like ran away and didn't come back for the rest of the lesson (And I didn't scare him away ok! I know that's what you're thinking) Olivia looks like Dawn Yang! And that's not really good :S

Haha bye for now. I like being nerdy! 8-)!

Oh, new found love for everyone. Michael Phelps.
