I'm numb, on the asphalt.
I tried to read a little of Twilight, to know the story a little before watching the show. And y'know, after reading 6 chapters, in one hour (Which is pretty much slow but I had to reread certain parts because it was confusing), I've got quite a lot to say but it really sucks to keep having flashes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in their respective roles while other characters like Tyler, Eric and Mike just have this blur/dark thingy over their faces when I try to imagine them.But that's not all! I think Robert Pattinson will make quite a good vampire in terms of look. But, I think there's one person, that will make the best vampire. While reading parts on Edward Cullen, I not only had flashes of Robert, but Mike He as well. I think he will make a good vampire in a sense, he's the good guy, yet the bad guy at the same time. He is dangerous yet able to give you a sense of security, and at the same time, injecting humour and romance. You can't help but fall in love with him. That's so Devil Beside You. It's dangerous being around him and you feel scared, yet at the same time, he makes you feel safe. Think the scene from DBY, whereby Meng was cycling super quickly on his bike and he crashed into a car, Qiyue and Meng flew out and rolled to the middle of the road. A car comes into Qiyue's direction, and Meng just went over her and protect her. The car stopped and they just kissed while lying in the middle of the road, stopping the traffic. I don't know, that was how I felt while reading the book. Ok, so now I'm back from the movie. Whatever that's above, was typed out before I left the house. The movie was ok. Well, average. But, it would have sucked, totally if I completed the book before I watched the movie. I thought that whatever I read was super sucky (movie) and whatever I didn't read, was ok. Like it was sweet and stuff. I don't actually think Robert Pattinson spoils Edward. I mean, c'mon, name another Caucasian actor to potray Edward Cullen? What's that Harry Potter guy's name? Not him, definitely. He looks 'geeky-I-can-only-be-a-wizard'. Robert mentioned Zac? No, definitely no way. Michael Cera? Oh please. I don't really have a whole library of young actors' names. Oh but I have to say, Robert's voice, wasn't manly and low enough. When he said 'Hello', I was like 'God, the voice spoilt the whole thing.' At first, I thought Kristen kind of didn't match the whole Bella character. The Bella in my mind appeared to be more weak, damsel-in-distress kind of thing, yet has this whole charm. First things first, I thought she wasn't THAT pretty, but she gets prettier as the show goes on. Her hair is super chio. I totally love her eyes, mouth and hair. And that Eric guy, was totally out of my expectations. I mean, I didn't expect a Wang-Ren-Fu lookalike to act as him! I expected a more irritating, pain in the neck kind of guy. Y'know, the hottest person would have to be Carlisle Cullen (Dr Cullen). He's so hot please. My first thought when I saw him was, Draco Malfoy. Don't ask me why. LOL. I don't think that James guy is hot. But he looked good in another picture, showing him in a car, on Deborah's blog. There's this vampire, that's with James and Victoria but he's like a good guy. Then he's a black in the movie. So I said aloud,"I thought vampires are white?? He's so black!" I thought the scenery was pretty and the Cullens' house is super chio. I love glassy houses. I think glass just makes a house super open and connected to nature. It's like saying,"I've got nothing to hide and I want to show the world what I've got." Anyway, still, what's the big deal about Edward? Go figure.  Don't read the book before watching the movie. That's all I can say. While leaving The Cathay, I saw this super cute angmoh boy!!! He's so cute!! He's like tan, with pretty eyes. I love such kids. I hope my kid will be so handsome. Well, provided I get hitched to a Caucasian guy. Bye for now. I wanna watch Bedtime Stories! |
